Our AkashaBowls® are made of 99.9% pure quartz glass. The crystalline structure of this material is encoded in sound and creates powerful vibrations that engage the body's energy centers.

AkashaBowls® are manufactured in a complex process. The quartz glass is heated to several thousand degrees and then individually shaped by hand using blowing techniques. Factors such as wall thickness, diameter, and height determine the frequency and sound of each individual bowl.

There are two main techniques for playing AkashaBowls®. You can strike the bowl gently to produce short, powerful notes, or rub the rim with a mallet to create long, clear sounds. Both techniques combine well. You can learn more about playing techniques in our courses .

No, you can place smaller bowls inside larger ones, meaning they can be stacked. However, place soft cushioning material between the bowls to protect them from damage.

Use a soft cloth and purified water. If necessary, you can also use a little mild soapy water. To energetically cleanse your bowl, you can place it in the sun or under the moon, or treat it with your favorite incense.
